Last night, Moishe House of Orange County hosted a “Rabbi Battle”, essentially a Rabbi Mini-Panel, whereby participants got to ask the two rabbis a variety of questions. The two rabbis, Rabbi David Young of Congregation B’nai Tzedek and Rabbi Drew Kaplan of Southern California Jewish Young Adult Enrichment, handled the questions, going back and forth.
The questions ranged from dealing with abortions and tattoos to Jewish identity and afterlife. “This event was a blast,” said Alex Kaplan. “Great questions were raised. Both Rabbis were his hysterically funny and very knowledgable.”
Moishe House’s mission is to provide meaningful Jewish experiences for young adults around the world by supporting leaders in their 20′s as they create vibrant home-based Jewish communities. Southern California Jewish Young Adult Enrichment’s mission is to enrich the lives of young adults in Southern California through exposing young Jews to their Jewish heritage.
